If you can’t find a person’s profile, your messages show only a checkmark (not “delivered”), and their profile picture is a gray silhouette—you’ve likely been blocked by them.
The mobile app is the most common way to manage your contacts. The interface is identical for both iPhone and Android users as of 2026.
Log into your router’s admin panel (usually 192.168.1.1) → Look for Access Control , Website Blocking , or Firewall → Remove “facebook.com” and “messenger.com” from the blacklist.
