Locate the existing storage drive. If it is a standard 2.5-inch drive, unscrew its mounting caddy, pull it away from the interface port, and swap it with your new SSD inside the caddy. If it is an M.2 drive, remove the single retaining screw and pull the drive straight out of the slot before inserting the new one.
