Slmgr [hot] <EXCLUSIVE>

This command installs a product key into the local registry. It validates the key’s checksum and, for volume editions, determines whether the system will use Key Management Service (KMS) or Multiple Activation Key (MAK) activation. Unlike simple registry edits, /ipk triggers SPP to generate a unique Installation ID (IID) sent to Microsoft’s activation servers.
