Mesa County Central Services has its roots in the early 20th century, when Mesa County was still a relatively small and rural area. At that time, the county government was responsible for providing basic services such as road maintenance, law enforcement, and healthcare. As the county grew and prospered, the need for more comprehensive and coordinated services became apparent. In response, Mesa County Central Services was established to centralize and streamline various government functions.
