1996 F1 Season -

The Williams FW18 was the class of the field. Designed by Adrian Newey, it was exceptionally reliable, aerodynamically efficient, and powered by the mighty Renault V10. Williams won 12 out of 16 races and secured their fourth Constructors' Championship in five years.

The 1996 season closed the book on the Williams-Renault supremacy. While Williams would win the Constructors' Championship again in 1997, the team's dominant era was fading, exacerbated by the departure of Adrian Newey and the withdrawal of Renault as a full works engine supplier. 1996 f1 season
