Mangal is a TrueType font developed by Microsoft for Devanagari script (used by Hindi, Marathi, Nepali, and other languages). It comes pre-installed on Windows operating systems and follows the (Indian Script) keyboard layout standard. Unlike phonetic keyboards (e.g., Google Indic), Mangal uses a positional layout where each Devanagari character is assigned to a specific key, regardless of how it sounds in English.
