Counterfeit USB drives often spoof popular VIDs but use the wrong PID. If you buy a "SanDisk" drive that claims to be 1TB for $10, check the PID. If it says 5567 but the casing looks wrong, you likely have a fake. Real 1TB SanDisk drives use different PIDs.
