Haru’s mother, whom she abandoned after a childhood of neglect disguised as love, finds the podcast. She writes a public letter to Kuro-chan, posted on a forum: “You talk about shame like you’ve never felt it. But I know you. You’re my daughter. And you’re the most ashamed person I’ve ever met.”
