Kess - Software
(often referred to as KESSv2) is a professional-grade Electronic Control Unit (ECU) programming tool used primarily in the automotive aftermarket for remapping (chiptuning). Manufactured by the Italian company Alientech Srl , KESS is designed to read and write the internal memory of a vehicle’s ECU via the OBD-II diagnostic port (On-Board Diagnostics) or via Boot Mode (direct connection to the ECU’s circuit board).
