S04e02 1080p _verified_: Young Sheldon

The whole family is home. George Sr. is icing his shoulder (he pulled it celebrating Missy’s strikeout). Mary is praying. Missy is eating ice cream from the carton. Sheldon is watching Star Trek: The Next Generation and taking notes on Captain Picard’s leadership style.

By the end, Sheldon reluctantly agrees to let Mrs. Ingleby finish the tour without interruption. She thanks him by giving him a laminated bookmark of the Ten Commandments. He notes, “Commandment #7 is often misinterpreted.” young sheldon s04e02 1080p

Credits roll over a shot of Sheldon’s clipboard from earlier, with his docent evaluation form now scribbled over in crayon by Missy: “Docent Score: 100/10 – Nice lady. Don’t be a jerk, Sheldon.” The whole family is home

At church, Sheldon is assigned to Mrs. Ingleby, a sweet but overly cheerful elderly docent tasked with showing him the church’s historical artifacts. Sheldon immediately corrects her pronunciation of “Maccabees.” Mrs. Ingleby laughs it off, but Sheldon follows her around with a clipboard, grading her performance: “Docent Score: 3 out of 10. Lacks theological depth. Relies too heavily on anecdotal warmth.” Mary is praying

Just as Georgie leans in for a kiss, Sheldon walks in with Mary and the docent Mrs. Ingleby (post-church dinner). Sheldon loudly announces, “Georgie is on a date! Statistically, 63% of high school romances end before prom.”

Mrs. Ingleby eventually breaks down in the basement, crying among dusty hymnals. “I just wanted to help children appreciate God’s house,” she sniffles.
