In Islam, the Zabur (زبور) is unequivocally one of the four major divine books revealed by Allah to humanity. The others are the Tawrat (Torah, to Musa), the Injil (Gospel, to Isa), and the Qur’an (to Muhammad). The Qur’an itself explicitly mentions the Zabur in Surah Al-Isra (17:55): "And your Lord is most knowing of whoever is in the heavens and the earth. And We have made some of the prophets exceed others, and to Dawud We gave the Zabur."
