If you decide you no longer want this option, open the Registry Editor ( regedit ) and navigate to: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shell\VSCode Delete the VSCode folder. Repeat for HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\VSCode and HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shell\VSCode if you added those as well.
