Desperate, Frank (Seth Rogen’s character) leads a raid on a pharmaceutical lab. There, they find the AMR vault. Inside: food items the humans engineered to be immortal — experimental meats and vegetables pumped with gene drives and antibiotic resistance. These are not allies. They’re nihilistic, unkillable mutants who hate all organic life — human or food — because they can never be eaten, spoiled, or digested.
Throughout the episode, the characters undergo significant development, particularly Frank and Brenda. Frank, who has always been the de facto leader of the food products, begins to question his role and the true nature of his existence.
