A failed double-pane window seal allows moisture and fog to accumulate between the glass layers, reducing thermal efficiency and visibility. Complete restoration of the hermetic seal is not possible without replacing the insulated glass unit (IGU). However, three practical solutions exist: (temporary cosmetic fix), replacement of the IGU (permanent fix), or full window replacement (if the frame is damaged). This report details each method.
