The Kara Robinson Story Instant

Kara managed to escape from Davis's captivity on September 3, 1991, after being held for 10 days. She was found by police wandering down a road near her home, disheveled and traumatized. Davis was subsequently arrested, tried, and convicted of kidnapping, rape, and murder. He was sentenced to death.

Within hours of her escape, police identified Evonitz from Robinson’s description. When confronted, Evonitz fled and committed suicide during a police chase in Virginia.
