Guerra Gaucha (1996) included “Francesca” and “Por el Resto.” They toured extensively in the US, Mexico, and Spain. The band went on a hiatus in the early 2000s as members pursued solo projects.
Formed in Mendoza by Marciano Cantero (born Horacio Eduardo Cantero), Felipe Staiti, and Daniel Piccolo. Originally influenced by The Beatles, The Police, and Argentine rock acts like Soda Stereo. They moved to Buenos Aires to break into the national scene.
Their second album became a milestone in Rock en español. It included “La Muralla Verde” and “Tibio Corazón,” blending new wave with catchy melodies. The album’s success put them alongside bands like Héroes del Silencio and Caifanes.
